This charming ascent begins just off Beagle Gap Road in Greendwood Village. Beginning on an old fire road, and following this until the blazed Beagle Gap Trail appears, the path will eventually cross into Shenandoah National Park. With views of Albemarle County and Afton Mountain in the distance, this makes a great out-and-back trip for those looking to experience the view from Beagle Gap without paying to enter the park.
