Sea Kayaking

On this route you will have protected and open water paddling. Plan the direction according to the wind conditions. There are miles of wild beach, with herons, egrets, brown pelican and terrapins. As you paddle, don’t be alarmed when you see two fins under you. Although it might look like a shark, it is not. Cownose rays are common here. Being bottom feeders, they like the shallow sandy water. Cownose rays are present from May through October.
