Beginning from directly off the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Humpback Rocks are a rocky outcropping atop the summit of Humpback Rock Mountain. Offering stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this trail offers a short but steep route up the Appalachian Trail to the summit. Just before the top, veer right along the Humpback Rocks Spur, and then descend along the north ridge of the mountain to return to the parking area.
