Bumping Lake is a natural lake just east of Mt Rainier, but its level is controlled by a dam in order to facilitate irrigation of the Yakima Valley. The lake is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains in the William O. Douglas Wilderness Area (the lake itself is not in the Wilderness Area and motor boats are permitted.) Its forested shores have many good campsites.
