The Centennial Trail is a paved pathway that follows abandoned railroad tracks from Snohomish to Arlington, with plans to extend it to the north. The trail is nearly level as it rolls past semi-rural terrain, mostly under forest cover. There is a dirt equestrian track paralleling the trail, but some sections are shared, so be alert for horses. There are several access points in addition to the two at either end of the trail.
