Chenuis Falls is a series of medium-size cascades in Chenuis Creek, which drains the northern boundary area of Mt Rainier National Park. The falls, located north of the Carbon River, are generally inaccessible until the park service has constructed temporary bridges, usually sometime in May or June (more permanent structures aren't installed because of yearly floods.) If fording the river, exercise extreme caution (fording is not recommended for children.) It is possible to ride a mountain bike to the river crossing, beyond which they are not allowed.
