This route starts in Riverside Park in La Crosse and uses the paved trail through the river bottom marshlands along with rolling country roads. You will travel past vast farmlands, climb and ride along the spine of a ridge, follow along a scenic creek, and visit several small towns. The terrain is very rolling with several major climbs. The countryside is beautiful and is accented with rolling hills, parks, rivers and lakes.
