This tour begins and ends in Red Arrow Park and it explores the wetland peninsula where Seagull Bar State Natural Area is located and then circumnavigates Green Island. Seagull Bar State Natural Area is rich with diverse wetland flora and fauna and is beautiful and peaceful to explore. The Green Island Light is a lighthouse located on Green Island in Green Bay. Since 1956 it has been deactivated and abandoned and the ruins remain a hollow shell near the existing skeleton tower. The island is surrounded by pretty sandy beaches and filled with gorgeous forest. The open-water paddle required to reach Green Island can be dangerous in high winds.
