This classic ride is inspired by the excellent Chippewa Valley Century Ride established as an annual Memorial Day weekend bike event. You will leave from Chippewa Falls, pass the Old Abe Recreational Trail, visit a few quaint and historic villages, cross over the Holcombe Flowage, and ride past several lakes, vast farm fields, and through the zoo. There are many great views and stunning scenery on this route. The terrain contains many rolling sections and a few challenging hills. For a 35-mile ride, head east out of Jim Falls, crossing State Highway 178 and continuing on County Road Y.
