On this route you will have the opportunity to explore the intimate, winding channels inland of the Peshtigo Harbor State Wildlife Area as well as the outer shoreline as you paddle to the North Bay Shore Recreation Area. The Peshtigo River offers many different possibilities of paddling and enjoying the peaceful water and rich flora and fauna of the expansive wildlife area. As you paddle out onto the harbor, long sweeping views across Green Bay can be seen as well as gorgeous views stretching over the wetlands. As you reach the North Shore Recreation Area there is a great park and good boat ramps. This also makes a good out-and-back tour.
