St. Crois State Park sits next to the Minnesota-Wisconsin border in central Minnesota. The park resides near the confluence of two rivers, both deemed wild and scenic rivers by the state, making this a very scenic hike. There are 127 miles of hiking trails, but this route is one of the most scenic. The trails are wide and made of dirt or grass, making them easy to navigate. Be apprised that dogs need to be kept on a leash in the park. Also, be aware that you are required to purchase a state park parking permit; camping fees are separate.
