White Mound Lake is located off of State Highway 23 about eighteen miles north of Spring Green. Parking is available at the trailhead as well as South Lake Road and North Lake Road. There are three trails, all of which loop around the lake in a counter-clockwise direction. Loops 1 and 3 are mapped and loop 2 is a combination of them. All of the trails are groomed and tracked. Loop 1 is gentle and circles the perimeter of the lake while loops 2 and 3 are more difficult and traverse the hills surrounding the lake.
