This scenic ride travels through the lower section of Oak Creek Canyon which offers some excellent scenery in the form of riparian forest terrain and beautiful vineyards. The narrow two-lane highway has no shoulder and requires cautious riding but is still far safer than riding the dangerous upper portion of Oak Creek where traffic is busier and blind curves are common. The ride can also be done as a slightly shorter trip by following Page Springs Road out and back. There are supplies and food available in Cornville.
