This adventure offers a medium length biking experience through Atlanta suburbs and on into Stone Mountain Park. Just a few minutes away from downtown Atlanta, the popular Stone Mountain Park offers a scenic ride with incredible views. On a clear afternoon, roughly 800 feet above the surrounding Georgia Piedmont, the views include Kennesaw Mountain, downtown Atlanta and the Appalachian Mountains. Make sure to visit the unique bas-relief sculpture of Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, and Stonewall Jackson, which happens to be the largest of its kind in the world.

The Fort McAllister Ramble rubmles through beautiful scenery in south-east Georgia. The trees along the way are festooned with Spanish-moss. The route is secluded offering a wonderfully quiet and pleasant ride.There are several spots along the way that have historical significance in regards to the Civil War.

This scenic ride takes you around Georgia’s highest mountain, Brasstown Bald on a strenuous rolling mountain course. There are some fairly tough sections on this route, but the spectacular mountain scenery payoff is worth it. Be apprised that there is an option for a 12-mile loop if you take highway 288 near Macedonia.

The Chattooga Challenge is one of the most scenic and beautiful road biking routes in North Georgia. The route is a popular one and offers a secluded ride through gorgeous valley terrains and rolling mountain foothills. The path winds through the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest and the lovely High Point Mountain.

Jekyll Island Ramble offers a great cycle for the whole family, as it is the smallest barrier island that is accessible to the public. By state law only 35 percent of the land can be developed, so 65 percent of the land is untouched making this ride very scenic. This is simply the best coastal cycle in all of Georgia. Be aware that because this is a very popular vacation destination so traffic may be heavy during the summer months.

The Chattooga Cruise is one of the more scenic and beautiful road biking routes in North Georgia. The path winds along the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest for several miles up to the city of Lafayette. The route is a popular one and offers a secluded ride through gorgeous valley terrains and rolling mountain foothills.

This road biking adventure explores beautiful north Georgia mountain and valley landscapes that offers many challenges. A highlight of the ride is the Chattahoochee National Forest and by Kincaid, Sequoyah and Fausett Lakes. There are a number of apple farms, crop feilds, rural landscapes forest foliage, and mountain landscapes on this route. Be apprised that the climb on this route rises over 1300 feet over a length of five miles.

The Wacissa Springs Ride is a beautiful, rewarding ride with a lot of different elements. You will start at Myers Park, and ride through a part of the canopied Old St. Augustine Road. Sections of the ride will have small hills, while the majority is flat. You will ride through shade, but most of this route is in the sun. Your destination is the gorgeous Wacissa Springs, where you can swim and use the facilities before your return.

St. Simon's Island is a great spot to visit because of its delicious seafood, the seashore, deep history and climate, all of which make this ride special. This particular route utilizes designated biking trails as well as roadways, combining for a safe journey through this beautiful coastal area. There are gorgeous coastal views along the way. This is a spot that attracts a lot of tourists, but despite that traffic levels are generally low outside of the summer months. To knock off a few miles from the trip head west on Demere Rd. on the way back.

Silver Comet cycling trail is among the most well-known and frequented road biking routes in Georgia. The path is a 12-foot wide paved pedestrian/biking trail that was built on an old rail corridor. There are several different types of landscapes featured, including rural, suburban, metro and the scenic Paulding Wildlife Management Area. A few highlights of the trail are The Brushy Mountain Tunnel, The Willow Springs Road Wooden Trestle, and the Pumpkin Creek Trestle.
