Lake Winneshiek is a 4635 acre lake located in Crawford County in the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing off of Great River Road. The views and scenery are phenomenal. The shorelines are filled with thick forest and marshlands.
