Camp Creek Campground is located in the heart of Montana and is surrounded by lots of thick trees which provide privacy. Campers have access to restrooms, picnic tables, drinking fountains, and more. There are fisheries nearby where visitors can fish for bass and trout. Pets are welcome. Other popular activities in the area include ATV riding and mountain biking on the endless network of nearby trails.

Polson/ Flathead Lake Campground is located near Flathead Lake and has absolutely stunning views throughout the year. Campers can enjoy aquatic activities on the lake as well as golfing, playing basketball or volleyball, and enjoying the heated pool/ hot tub. A couple of museums are within the area and are very popular among campers. Amenities offered include wifi, a snack bar, propane, firewood, and maximum RV length of 71 feet.

Harry’s Flat Campground is located near Rock Creek. It sits in the abundant ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir trees of the Lolo National Forest. There are a total of 15 sites offered here that each have access to picnic tables, fire rings, water, and toilets. Sites are offered on a first come first serve basis and cost about $6 per night. A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed per site. Fishing is a very popular activity here.

Sylvia Lake Campground is located right next to the lake in Flathead National Forest. This campground has 3 campsites that all have access to a picnic table, vault toilet, fire ring, and even a boat ramp. Visitors enjoy boating, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing for native grayling and cutthroat trout. There is no water here so campers must bring their own.

Whitefish Bike Retreat Campground is a heavily shaded campground in the city of Whitefish. This is a tent only campground that offers a total of 10 sites. Bicyclists and hikers will enjoy the many trails that run throughout the area. Sites include access to tables, grills, water, toilets, showers, and more. Pets are welcome here. Sites cost $12-20 per night.

Orofino Campground is a nice secluded campground in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. There are a total of 10 sites offered here that are available on a first come first serve basis. Maximum RV length is 22 feet and sites have access to vault toilets, drinking water, extra parking, and picnic tables. There are no garbages within the campground so campers must pack out what they pack in. No fee is required here.

Devil’s Corkscrew Campground is located on the east side of Hungry Horse Reservoir near Martin City. There are a total of 4 campsites offered here that have access to vault toilets and can accommodate both tents and trailers. This is a pretty lightly used campground and no reservations can be made in advance. There is also a 16 day stay limit.

Twin Lakes Campground is surrounded by trees and sits along the shores of the lake. Sites can accommodate both tents and trailers and have access to drinking water, vault toilets, extra parking, picnic tables, and even a boat ramp. Visitors enjoy fishing, hiking, water activities, and enjoying the beautiful nature in the area. There are no garbages in the campground so you must pack out what you pack in. The 21 sites are based on a first come first serve basis and cost $7 per night.

Spotted Bear Campground is a very heavily used campground located in the Flathead National Forest. Sites can accommodate both tents and trailers up to 32 feet in length. Sites are based on a first come first serve basis. There are no fees required, no garbages, and no water from 9/30-5/15. A 14 day stay limit is enforced. Spotted Bear and South Fork Flathead Rivers are both located nearby.

Potosi Campground and Picnic Area is spread out over a very large space of land near the city of Pony. Drinking water is available during the summer and winter and there are also picnic tables, toilets, and extra parking. There are a total of 15 sites that can accommodate both tents and trailers. Sites are offered on a first come first serve basis and have a maximum RV length of 22 feet.
