Mount Tammany is part of the Kittatinny Ridge and is located in the Worthington State Forest and the Delaware Water Gap. You will see an abundance of wild life and foliage including beautiful Lady's Slipper. The views on this hike are memorable to say the least and the trail may be heavily used.

Nice easy hike on very well maintained trails. Cheryl's trail is meant for mountain biking and cross country skiing. Great place for kids and dogs.

This hike takes you along a secluded portion of the Appalachian Trail and don't be startled if you see a deer or two along the path. Your destination is beautiful Sunfish Pond where you can eat your lunch and relax before your return trip. Make sure you bring your camera!

This invigorating hike takes you through Black River County Park and along the banks of the Black River into a hemlock ravine with beautiful falls and the stone ruins of a summer cottage.You should also visit the Kay Environmental Center and Cooper Mill.

This pleasant hike takes you along the scenic Appalachian Trail through scenic dense forests to the infamous Sunfish Pond, on of New Jersey's Seven Natural Wonders. Leashed dogs are permitted.

This last leg of the backpacking is the most spectacular. As you hike along the trail, you have a beautiful view of the Poconos. You go through a mature hemlock and sheep laurel grove and hike from Crater Lake to Kittatinny Lake.

This is day (1) of (3) in a backpacking excursion along the infamous Appalachian Trail.This backpacking trip starts at the Delaware Water Gap then skirts along the ridge of the Kittatinny Mountains generally north through Worthington State Forest.

The park's Visitor Museum contains artifacts from the Revolutionary War that is worth the trip. There is a $5 per car entry fee on weekends only. You will be surrounded by lush greenery and forests on this hike, most of which is on a tow path as you start and end along the Delaware River. Leashed dogs are permitted.

The little town of Ellicottville, mainly known for its two downhill ski areas, has become a major mountain biking center as well. There are dozens of miles of single track trails of all skill levels, including some that use the ski trails. In additon, there are many miles of little-used country dirt roads connecting the trail networks. The route shown is just one of many possibilities. The trails extend to nearby Little Rock City, a natural rock formation, and they also connect with the downhill ski area trails. The trails here are known for being rocky.
