Nestled along the banks of Lake Guntersville and the Tennessee River, this region of Lake Guntersville in northeastern Alabama, can be accessed from the Goose Pond Campground boat launch site. This launch site is located along the campsites, but there is also a Marina located further up the road. This region offers multiple inlets, coves and islands to explore along with a golf course, camp sites and lakeside cabins for rent at Goose Pond Campground. Many other amenities and recreational activities are within the area as well.

This trip begins from the Mink Creek Boat Ramp located off AL Highway 79. From the put-in travel south towards the three islands located off in the distance. Enjoy paddling across the open waters before reaching the islands. Take time to paddle past each island exploring the small inlets and coves. Find a place to pull up on shore and enjoy the scenery in what seems to be your own private small island along the open waters of Lake Guntersville.. Be sure to bring your fishing gear as Lake Guntersville is a popular destination for Kayak Fishing. End this trip back at the Mink Creek Boat Ramp. Potential winds can cause choppy wave conditions. Be prepared to paddle across open waters.

This trip begins at the South Sauty Creek Store boat launch, along South Sauty Road at Lake Guntersville. From here this trip takes you across the open waters of northeast Lake Guntersville and then up to Morgans Cove launch site. Enjoy exploring the many side sloughs on your way back to the South Sauty Creek Store boat launch where this trips ends.

This trip located inside Lake Guntersville State Park begins from the Town Creek Fishing Center boat launch/access point along Alabama 227. From here you will paddle north towards the mouth of Town Creek. Once Reaching the lower section of Town Creek the path narrows through a heavily forested area as you continue your paddle up stream. Return to the Town Creek Fishing Center boat launch/access point to end your trip.

This trip on Lake Guntersville begins at the Claysville Boat Dock located at Marshall County Park. Travels around various islands as you head towards Conners Island, before heading in a clockwise direction back to the Claysville Boat Dock. Allow more time to explore the small islands in this area. Various routes are possible in this area.
