Moss Lake Motorcycle Trail is located in dense and remote woods of Hiawatha National Forest and offers 26 miles of fun and scenic trails for motorcycles to explore. The trail features lots of ups and downs and twists and turns and is a good option for more experienced riders. The trail is maintained for machines up to 28 inches in width and may have ruts and obstructions to watch out for. A Michigan ORV license and trail permit are required for riding.

The trail consists of mostly rolling singletrack trail with a short section of doubletrack at the beginning and end. There are lots of small ups and downs but no major climbs or descents. The trails are also popular for equestrian riding and hiking so watch out for others while riding. The campground provides spacious tent and RV sites that are equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, and grills. The natural surface trail is wide and easy to follow with minimal change in elevation making it a great choice for hikers of all skill levels. There are campgrounds and picnic areas located on the lake as well as a boat launch and nice swimming beaches. The trail is also used a lot in the winter for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

This small primitive campsite is located on the eastern shoreline of McKeever Lake and provides a remote and scenic spot for camping in the Hiawatha National Forest. There primitive site is walk-in only and is equipped with a picnic table, lantern post, and fire ring. There are no restroom facilities, drinking water, or trash services at the campsite. The cost is $8 per night and reservations are required to stay at the site. Reservations must be made at least 1 day ahead of arrival.
