Little Beaver Creek is a wild and scenic river and has some of the best canoeing in Ohio. The scenery is breathtaking. The shorelines are lined with a mixture of conifers and hardwoods with occasional large rock outcroppings. The stream is extra clear and silt-free with a rock and gravel bottom.

Cutler Lake is located in Blue Rock State Park. This lake is a peaceful and beautiful place to paddle and escape to. There are rugged hills and rich green forests that provide a scenic backdrop. Only electric and hand-propelled boats are permitted.

Belmont Lake is an scenic lake with lots of recreation to enjoy. The shore is lined with mature woodlands and lots of wildlife. Only electric motors and hand propelled boats are allowed so paddling makes for a peaceful way to enjoy the lake. People also enjoy picnicking, camping, hunting and fishing here.

Fun paddle on Hinckley Lake. Located on the east branch of the Rocky River, this is Ohio's largest inlet lake in the Cleveland Metroparks area. Popular among anglers with a variety of fish to catch and the most popular being largemouth bass.

Guilford Lake is a quiet lake to paddle located in northeastern Ohio on the west fork of Little Beaver Creek. Only boats up to 10 hp are allowed. Canoes and paddleboats can be rented in the campground.

Sutton Lake is a beautiful and clear lake located on the Elk River in Braxton County. This lake covers 1440 acres and offers 40 miles of shore line. The deepest section of the lake is at the dam which is 125 feet deep. The lake was built by the Army Corps of Engineers Flood Control and Water Quality Project for flood control of the Elk, Kanawha and Ohio Rivers. The lake is surrounded by beautiful wooded forests with no commercial development. This boat ramp is located in the Bee Run Recreation Area. It features a beach, showers, bathrooms, picnic areas and pavilions.

Roosevelt Lake lies in the scenic Shawnee State Park. These hunting grounds of the Shawnee Indians have been named “The Little Smokies”. Roosevelt Lake is one of 2 lakes in the park and is a peaceful place to paddle and enjoy the beauty of Shawnee State Forest. The lake is restricted to electric motors only.

Forked Run Lake is a small scenic lake nestled in the forested hills. Motor boats are restricted to under 10 horse power which makes for a pleasant paddle experience on the lake. There are hiking trails and lots of wildlife to see.

Independence State Park lies along the bank of Maumee River. This river is open to motor boats but makes a scenic and enjoyable paddle. There are picnic sites and trails for hiking.

Located in Scioto Trail State Park this lake is home to a large variety of wildlife. The surrounding forest is thick and offers beautiful scenery as a backdrop. Stewart Lake is a peaceful and quiet to paddle around. Only electric motors are permitted.
